Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in 2003. Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association, in 2005.
Post-graduate degree in Health Law, from the Portuguese Catholic University, in 2005. Master in Medical Law and Ethics, from King’s College London, in 2007, with a thesis on Clinical trials in patients with mental health disorders.
Attended several training courses in public procurement and data protection.
Jane joined Barrocas Sarmento Neves & Associados, as a trainee lawyer, where she remained as an Associate Lawyer afterwards.
She took up different public functions between 2007 and 2010, after which she joined BAS, Sociedade de Advogados, RL, as a partner.
Throughout her professional career, Jane dedicated herself mainly to legal advice to public and private entities, namely in Public Procurement, Administrative Law, Health Law, Data Protection and Public-Private Partnerships.
Jane joined Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados as Of Counsel in October 2020, where she provides legal advice in the areas of Public Procurement, Administrative Litigation, Administrative Law and Health Law.
She is a member of the Ethics Committee of APDPO – Portugal (Association of Data Protection and Security Professionals).
